Peconic Bay Winery at Empire State Cellars
Peconic Bay Winery is one of the oldest vineyards on the North Fork. It has been owned by Ursula and Paul Lowerre since 1999, and employs experienced viticulturist Charlie Hargrave, credited with the planting of the first commercial vineyards on LI, and veteran winemaker Greg Gove. Peconic Bay farms 57 acres of vines some as old as 30 years, and produces 10,000 cases of fine vinifera wine, brandy and hard sparkling cider annually.
