Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, The East Farm Estate is home to Harmony Vineyards. Located on the Stony Brook Harbor, only one hour ten minutes drive from Manhattan, this lush rolling waterfront North Shore estate preserves the original circa 1690 homestead. It was sensitively morphed into a Gold Coast mansion in 1904 by the noted architect Archibald M. Brown preserving all of the original charm. “The Old East Farm House” was moved in 1999 from its original location on the 33 acre farm and fully restored to its original splendor to become the Harmony Vineyards Tasting Room and Art Gallery.
Our focus on history led us to keep the farm in 326 years of continuous production. In 2002, two vineyard blocks were planted by our viticulturist Steve Mudd. We consistently produce outstanding Bordeaux Style Red Blends and a fresh, fruity Chablis Style Chardonnay inspired by our waterfront terroir and our winemaker Eric Fry.
Our lovely “Vineyard Terrace” overlooks the vines and lets guests enjoy the waterfront properties’ beautiful vistas in three seasons as well as our outstanding outdoor musical performances. Our three story outdoor movie screen enables “Drink-In” theatre on Friday nights and “Tasting Notes Jazz Club” with sets on Thursdays and Saturdays from 8-10pm featuring Ray Anderson and his world class colleagues. Our indoor winter venue provides an upscale and cozy wine and beer bar by the fire. Open year round Thursday through Sunday, with live music every weekend, Harmony Vineyards will be sure to please the palette and refresh the mind.
In Harmony with nature and humanity, we donate all of our profits to our basket of worthy local charities which focus on hunger relieve and education.
